In the wine world they say all roads lead to Burgundy. When it comes to the Olson Vineyard, and thier Pinot Noir it is about as close as you can get without actually setting foot in Burgundy itself. The 2017 vintage is an exquisite example of just that. A lighter style Pinot Noir. Beautifully ripe, but restained fruits in approach in both aromatics and on the palate. Vibrant dried cranberries, tart red cherries, burnt orange rind, and notes of black tea that crown the balanced earth tones and spices that trail on into a gorgeous lengthy finish.
This bottle will continue to age well over then next 10 to 12 years.
